A children’s clothing boutique wanted a bright, fun, child-friendly site to showcase their products. Using Illustrator, I created several characters and a versatile scene to create the feel of a child’s drawing. The effect is whimsical and gender neutral making it fun for all to shop!

Staci, of Quirky Bird, and I decided to partner to create a site highlighting our love of mustache merchandise. Our passion for ‘stache has now become a new site where our favorite products will reside including some original designs from both of us. Truly a joint effort, we combined our talents to design and create the site. Since we’re always evolving, I’m sure that Mustache Attack will, as well.

Featured on the site are my mustache napkins. We plan to add many more products, so stay tuned by signing up for our mailing list or “like” us on facebook.

Once Quirky Bird had the logo, I went to work on the layout. The client wanted a clean, hip site that spoke to home and office. Using elements of folders and making modern silhouette buttons for the links, I finished off the site with custom textures that give the site subtle depth.

The client needed a blog that spoke to her enthusiasm for making things. I wanted to capture the look of a collage of paper, fabric and thread. I achieved this through preppy, cheery colors, custom patterns and layering.
